Dr. Far is a Filipino- Persian Dentist and the daughter of Dr. Gloria Jimenez a Dental surgeon, and Engineer Mohammad Ali Shamsi, an electrical engineer. She is a member of the Philippine Dental Association. She began to develop a love for dentistry when she started going to her mom’s dental clinic as a child. As she spent more of her days in the clinic, she began to feel a passion for surgery and cosmetic dentistry. 

She completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Centro Escolar University. Since she is also half Persian, she took the opportunity to earn her second dental license as Doctor of Dental Surgery in Iran. She also has completed numerous continuing education courses in dental surgery, dental implants, and dental cosmetics & aesthetics to help ensure that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. 

She continually strives to keep up with the latest techniques and materials, so she could provide her patients with the safest and most effective dental care and results. She constantly hones her dental skills and updates her knowledge in the field, having completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, including certification in cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry. 

She has also attended leadership seminars at the Purposeful Stewardship Institute (PSI) for her own personal growth and at the same time to give the best dental service to her patients. And because of her passion in helping people, she has also volunteered for dental missions.

Daughter of Dr. Fazel Nikbin, a Dental Surgeon, and Dr. Wilma Lagpacan, an Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Dr. Shahideh is a Filipino – Persian Dentist now living and practicing in the Philippines. She is a member of the Philippine Dental Association and the Medical Council of Iran. In high school, she started to take interest in dentistry so she began observing and assisting her dad. She completed her undergraduate studies at Centro Escolar University with a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2006. Since she is half-Persian, she also pursued and earned her second dental license in Iran from the Shahid Beheshti University in 2006. She then started working at her parents’ hospital, the DRS Nikbin Hospital in Karaj. 

After a year of working hard and learning the latest techniques and materials, she realized that she has a passion for Orthodontics. She wanted to help kids to have aligned teeth that would boost their confidence and would give them a higher chance of success in their career and relationships. She continued her postgraduate studies at the University of the Philippines and since then completed numerous continuing education courses in the Middle East and seminars given by the UP Dental Alumni Association, Association of Philippine Orthodontists, and the National Orthodontic Congress. 

She keeps up to date with the latest technologies on orthodontics and TMJ treatments. She has also attended leadership seminars at the Purposeful Stewardship Institute (PSI) so that she could get to know more about herself while helping others reach their goals and become more successful in their lives. Her passion is Orthodontics and because her patients are mostly teenagers and young adults, she saw this as an opportunity to not just put a great smile on their faces but also educate them on health, life, and happiness.

Part of her continuous education is learning from other experts in the field, thru her memberships in the Philippine Dental Association, as well as the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
